Our Honey is natural, lovingly prepared and packed just for you and therefore are our indigenous fruits and vegetables which are naturally dried and preserved for your full gratification. The Honey which can be found in most Spars in Windhoek must be eaten as a replacement for refined sugar and other unsafe sweeteners. Add a little of Our Honey and milk to your bath or utilize it as a shower gel, honey is very positive for your skin. Use it as lip gloss, yes; my daughter and I owe our beautiful lips to this luscious Our Honey. Come and taste it yourself.

It’s because they are scared if they don't work hard, they will starve in winter, so every morning, mother bee gets up early and wakes everyone to go and fetch nectar, a sugary liquid they extract from flowers using their long, tube-shaped tongues.

Events You’ll Love
Check out what’s happening at Our Honey. We have tons of events happening all year.
Our current events include a visit to the Salambala Conservancy where you will see lots and lots of wildlife, hilarious storytelling around a bonfire, traditional singing and dancing, plus you can also come and be part of our girl's training towards womanhood and join in the ceremonies that celebrate their coming of age. Our people will treat you to a traditionally cooked meal and you are welcome to learn how to prepare your own delicious traditional dish. If you are lucky, you may even get to taste a home brew called Chikontini.

Fun on the Swamp
There is a swamp here which our parents and great grandparents believe to be so resourceful. Although this area can be hot and the swamp dries up or floods down at times depending on the year, you will be amazed at what some of our customers have found here and No, I am not referring to some magical things but there is fish if fishing is your thing and lots of other things to discover. There is everything for everyone around this swamp when the season is right.
You can even go swimming when the water level is high but of course beware of other swimmers as some of them can be life threatening and also because when there is plenty of water and fish; crocodiles and others also want to benefit. It is however fun for those whose dream is to work for the Nature Geo World. Come and explore this swamp. I am sure you can have a picnic too and go on a Mukolo ride.
Farmer's Market
Come and join other farmers on every Saturday if you are a producer or simply come and do a one stop shop as you will find almost everything you need on this farmer’s day, if not everything. Bring all your produce or friends and let’s sell together. There is joy in networking, shopping or earning together and you will find lots of goodies to buy for your children. This is your opportunity to get your products to the multitudes and find out what others do to get yields. We have a very generous community which believes in learning together. If you enjoy cooking or are just needing some recipes to spice your cooking up, you will be sure to find someone who can help you. You do not have to worry about the marketing and promotion of this event. All you need to bring is your produce, chair to sit on and table to showcase your produce.
